What should I read?

I am waiting for Who to download (even if it's 1 am I wanna watch it before bed. Caus eit's a Neil ep ffs) so have a random post with a poll!

I will most likely finish Naked Heat tomorrow and I need to start a new book (I actually think Olivia is making me read much more than before. I suppsoe that is slightly sad...) So I'm gonna let you guys choose for me! I promise that whichever of these books is winning at the time I am ready to pick up my next book, I will read.

Yep, you're only gonna get titles. No authors, no plots. You might recognize the titles though, who knows XD

Hi, fellow Scandinavian here. Hope you don't mind my intrusion. :) Would you like to discuss fandom in Scandinavian or do you have Scandinavian fanworks to share? Perhaps you'd consider joining us over at [livejournal.com profile] scandafandom?

We are many Scandinavians here on LJ, but we almost all post and comment in English. I'm contacting you to try to gather us in a strong and lively Scandinavian speaking milieu, where we can get beta readers for fanfics in our mother tongue, squee over Scandinavian events, fanworks and cons (not just stare in envy at our American friends' posts from AWA...) and so on. You can talk about all kinds of fandom related topics at [livejournal.com profile] scandafandom, as long as you post in a Scandinavian language. See you there?

(How I found you: I searched for Scandinavian journals with recent updates. I then had a look at your profile and journal, saw that you were active in fandom and thought that you would possibly be open for an invitation. I hope I wasn't totally amiss. :)

Aw, thanks for the invite!

Well, you weren't amiss in the assumption that I am active in fandom every now and then... but I seriously hate discussing fandomy things in Swedish. I cringe when reading newspaper articles about my shows and movies cause everything sounds so wrong and cheap for some reason. Even when I discuss my fandoms with Swedish friend sonline I tend to write in English, that's how bad it is. So thank you for the invite, but I'm gonna have to pass. I hope you find lots of nice people to join though!

No problem! I know many Scandinavians feel like it just gets too intimate to write fanfics for instance in their mother tongue. It is actually a recurring theme over at scandafandom.

But thanks for taking the time to answer my comment anyway. :) (And lurkers are welcome too, should you change your mind.)
