I know... both Farscape and BSG just gave us everything we needed. I would never read fic for those for example. It's just so unnecessary. I think what made them work so well was that we got all the love as well as the angst and everything in between. And not just at the end, but all through the show. They weren't afraid of letting the main characters get it on mid series.
